Monita Tahalea

Monita Angelica Maharani Tahalea or famously known as Monita Tahalea, is an exotic Indonesian singer which has the mixed beauty of Ambonese, Manadonese, and Austrian. She began her singing career after finishing fourth in one of the famous talent show, Indonesian Idol Season 2. Other than singer, she is also a songwriter and producer.

Monita Tahalea is a pop, jazz, and folk musician whose often collaborate with other famous musician such as Barry Likumahuwa, Gerald Situmorang, Sri Hanuraga, Yovie Widianto, and many more. Her first album was produced by Indra Lesmana in 2010, called “Dream, Hope, and Faith”. She also a member of The Nightingales band which released their EP called “Songs of Praise” in 2013.
